Creator-centric.
We take a creator-centric approach in everything we do. We comply with each creator’s (or their estate’s) intentions, instructions, and consent.
Mutual Respect.
Projects are proprietary to their creators, and we ensure that appropriate attribution is given. Our respect for all species includes respect for human beings as well.
Cultural Understanding.
As the world changes, we must continually learn from and understand each other in accordance with the African saying: Each one teach one.
Cultural Humility.
Cultural humility is relational: it’s about how we position ourselves in relation to people of cultures different from our own, acknowledging and learning from their firsthand experiences.
Compassion.
The world needs more compassion. We treat everyone with compassion, but if someone harms another individual, our compassion flows to those who have been harmed, and we believe those responsible should be held accountable.
Earth Living.
We value thoughtful, sustainable relationships among humans, other animals, and ecosystems, as represented in projects that explore the complexities of these connections and their cultural significance.
Community.
Building on respect, compassion, understanding, and connection to Nature, community means we come together in trust and safety to support projects for a beautiful world.
